A Message from the Convener
Welcome to Young Champions of Mathematics (YCoM).
YCoM is built on a simple idea: every young mind can excel in mathematics when given the right platform.
Since our maiden edition in 2025, which was featured on AIT, we have continued to see what is possible when young learners are given the opportunity to learn, compete, and believe in themselves.
Our Second Edition in 2026 took this vision even further, bringing together 204 students from 19 schools for an inspiring celebration of mathematical talent, creativity, and problem-solving.
Through YCoM, we are raising confident problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and future innovators through the power of mathematics.
YCoM is more than a competition. It is a growing movement.

YCoM Impact Story: 2025–2026
2025: Launched the maiden edition to discover and inspire young mathematics talents.
AIT Feature: Our maiden edition received television coverage on AIT, giving YCoM and its young champions wider visibility.
Talent & Confidence: Created a platform for students to build confidence, sharpen problem-solving skills, and embrace mathematics.
2026: Expanded to 204 students from 19 schools in our Second Edition.
Young Champions: Recognised and celebrated outstanding students for their mathematical excellence.
Growing Movement: YCoM is evolving beyond a competition into a movement raising confident problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and future innovators.
